Out in the wild

I had a great day searching for some nice places and found a great, lonely valley.

Sadly I had no luck with the birds but there were hundreds of butterflies so I concentrated on shooting them :-)

I have done a test of the Sigma 150mm macro with Sigma 1.4x TC and updated my review of it.

It’s all in German but I the pictures should be understandable to all ;-)

All pictures with 150mm macro @f/10-16, ISO400 and 430EX flash.

After dripping a little water on the hot plate they dance around for a while.

Hovering around on a cushion of steam

And finally the drop evaporates completely

Birds celebrate successful change to MySQL 5

Finally I upgraded to WP 2.9 which required exchanching the outdated mySQL 4 database for a new 5.x one.
It wasn’t that easy, especially because phpMyAdmin wouldn’t import it’s own exported DB. Luckily there is a DB-Backup plugin for WP which really helped.

So here are the first pics on WP 2.9.1 :-)
